Cancellation Policy

The Terms and Conditions for JW Trips outline important policies regarding bookings, payments, cancellations, and travel insurance. To reserve a spot on a tour, a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit per person is required immediately. Final payments must be made by the date specified on your invoice, with timely installment payments necessary to secure your reservation. Failure to make timely payments may result in forfeiture of your deposit and cancellation of your trip. If you're traveling with a roommate and they cancel, you may be responsible for the additional cost of single occupancy if another roommate cannot be found, as JW Trips does not arrange roommates.​ Cancellations must be submitted via the official cancellation form at www.jwtrips.com/cancellation; phone, text, or email cancellations are not accepted. The cancellation fee schedule is as follows: deposits are non-refundable; cancellations made 91 days or more before departure incur a $100 fee; 90 to 61 days prior, 25% of the trip price; 60 to 46 days prior, 50%; and 45 days or fewer, 100% of the trip price. No refunds are provided for unused portions of the tour once it begins, regardless of circumstances. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against unforeseen events, and for international trips, it is required with proof of coverage needed upon full payment. The cancellation and refund policies for JWTrips LLC vary depending on the type of trip, with stricter rules often applying to cruises, safaris, custom, international, private, and special event trips; these exceptions are detailed in each trip’s specific policy. Airfare purchased by JWTrips LLC follows the airline’s own cancellation rules. Non-refundable deposits made to suppliers on your behalf may be deducted from any refund. No refunds are issued for unused portions of a tour once it has begun, including early departure, missed departures, or removal from a tour, regardless of the reason—be it weather, emergencies, or other unforeseen events—so purchasing travel insurance is strongly recommended.
